Life changes in a heartbeat—sometimes literally. For Sofia life changed in an instant on December 2, 2020. It began as a normal morning in any seven year old`s life: laughing, joking around with her brothers, and then off to school. It ended with cardiac arrest in the middle of gym class. The fast action of the vice principal, who performed CPR on her until EMS arrived, saved her life. She was taken directly to the IWK. Soon afterwards, Sofia was diagnosed with a rare heart disease called Restrictive Cardiomyopathy. The only option was a heart transplant. So then the waiting began.

Except we didn`t want to just sit idly, counting the days, and Sofia isn`t the only child in need. That's why we created the Sofia Daisy (White/Yellow). This product is designed to help children like Sofia who are in need of a heart transplant. It is made with a soft, comfortable fabric and features a unique daisy pattern. The Sofia Daisy is a reminder that life can change in an instant and that we must always be prepared to help those in need.
